A San Antonio native, Dr. Ramirez-Shank graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Mary's University before earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1986. After practicing for 10 years in Southern California, she returned home to San Antonio in 1996 and has proudly served the South Side community from the same 6011 S. Flores location for the past 30 years!
As a Therapeutic and Glaucoma Specialist, Dr. Ramirez-Shank provides comprehensive eye exams and treatment for a wide range of eye conditions and diseases using modern diagnostic technology and personalized care plans. She is also an active member of the Bexar County Optometric Society, the Texas Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.
